Essential Responsibilities
- Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels
- Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers; negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement; manage claims
- Commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc.
- Drive initiatives for deflation/inflation mitigation, aimed at helping and offsetting pressure on costs
- Purchasing activities
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field
- May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements
- Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues
- The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.)
- Use some judgment and can propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems
- Prioritize information for data analysis, use technical experience and analytical thinking
- Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
- This role requires strong experience in the Sourcing & Commodity Management
- English fluent knowledge
- Czech knowledge would be considered a plus
- Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required
