This role is instrumental in driving meaningful value beyond cost savings - owning category sourcing outcomes, leading commercial negotiations, strengthening supplier ecosystems, and championing process excellence across the end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) journey. As a trusted procurement advisor, you will bring category expertise, commercial acumen, and stakeholder influence to ensure an optimal balance of cost efficiency, quality, risk mitigation, and brand protection.

What Impact You Can Create at Chanel

  • Strategic Sourcing & Value Delivery: Own assigned indirect spend categories (OPEX and CAPEX), driving RFX processes, market benchmarking, and data-driven negotiations to deliver measurable value and protect brand standards.

  • Business Partnership & Influence: Act as a trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME) across Business Units, guiding internal stakeholders on procurement processes, understanding business goals, and elevating the overall procurement experience.

  • Supplier Ecosystem & Risk Governance: Build and manage high-impact local supplier partnerships. Lead segmentation, performance evaluations, total cost optimization, contractual due diligence, and risk monitoring via designated tools.

  • S2P Process Excellence & System Adoption: Serve as the market Super User for Coupa/S2C, facilitating training, coaching, and change management while enforcing quality project documentation and policy compliance.

  • Sustainable & Responsible Procurement: Integrate sustainability principles into sourcing strategies, contribute to CSR supplier audit initiatives, and support APAC regional ESG goals and commitments.

You Are Energized By

  • Commercial Strategy & Value Creation: Connecting market insights with commercial strategies to negotiate value beyond cost reduction.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engaging with diverse stakeholders across corporate divisions, regional procurement teams, and external vendor partners.

  • Navigating Complexity with Agility: Problem-solving in dynamic environments with resilience, decisiveness, and diversity of thought.

  • Continuous Process Elevation: Championing digital e-procurement platforms (Coupa) and refining workflows for seamless self-service adoption.

  • Purposeful & Sustainable Impact: Advancing responsible procurement, risk transparency, and sustainable business practices in line with brand standards.

What You Will Bring

  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 7+ years of procurement or managerial experience within MNCs, with solid strategic sourcing, contract drafting, and negotiation track records. Luxury retail or FMCG background preferred.

  • Technical & S2P Expertise: In-depth understanding of end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and hands-on experience with e-Procurement tools (Coupa, SAP, or Ariba). S2C/Coupa implementation experience is a plus.

  • Academic & Professional Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related disciplines. CIPS qualification is an advantage.

  • Analytical Rigor & Risk Awareness: Strong analytical mind with attention to detail (intermediate Excel proficiency) and practical experience in vendor risk management and due diligence.
