Key responsibilities:
• Strategy & Consulting:
o Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive
landscapes affecting the Indian Oil and Gas clients
o Leverage the understanding of upstream, midstream and downstream operations to
develop practical strategies addressing key business challenges for clients in the Indian
energy sector.
o Provide business/digital transformation services for Oil & Gas clients across its core
functions of production operations, supply chain, marketing, sales and enterprise
functions like finance, procurement, Information Technology etc.
o Lead and contribute to client engagements in the energy sector, providing strategic
insights and solutions in the areas of digital transformation, operational excellence, cost
reduction, sales transformation, business process optimization etc.
• Project Stewardship:
o Lead and manage consulting projects in energy sector across the value chain, ensuring
the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
o Provide guidance to project teams comprising a mix of techno-functional skills in
producing project deliverables, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Opportunity Curation:
o Contribute to the development of proposals for some of the most challenging client
problem in energy sector.
o Collaborate with the larger teams within Accenture and our ecosystem partners to anchor
client presentations and business development efforts in energy sector.
• Thought Leadership:
o Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and geopolitical factors impacting
the energy sector and translate them into a PoV.
Required Experience:
• Rich consulting experience in energy industry with focus on areas of upstream, midstream and
downstream operations
• Knowledge of digital technology trends in the energy industry
• Experience of atleast 7 years with atleast 3 years of management consulting in relevant industry
like energy, utilities, chemicals and natural resources with leading consulting firms; domestic
consulting experience preferred
• Experience of leading cross functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience of working with C-level executives at the client organization
Educational qualifications
• Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or post graduate degree in management
(PGDM) from premier institutes preferred
