Main Purpose of Job :
The Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for managing customer collections, payment reconciliation, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records. This role ensures timely collection of outstanding payments, minimizes overdue receivables, and supports healthy cash flow while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments through calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Reconcile customer payments with invoices and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, receipts, and outstanding balances.
- Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and collection status reports.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Finance teams to resolve billing-related issues.
- Process credit notes, adjustments, and refunds as per company policies.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve receivable processes and collection efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and basic reporting.
