Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Claims Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) development team in Hyderabad, India. The role requires hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter, Gosu, Java, SQL, DevSecOps and working with Generative AI development tools.
Key Responsibilities
Estimate, design, build, test, and deliver high-quality code for Guidewire ClaimCenter
Integrate ClaimCenter with internal and external systems
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including performance issues
Participate in Agile development processes to deliver high-quality solutions
Mentor team members to enforce development guidelines and best practices
Assist in documenting solutions, processes, and best practices
Continuously explore new technologies to improve solutions and processes
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 8 or more years of experience in application software solution development
5 or more years of experience working with Guidewire InsuranceSuite products
Experience working in the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP)
Working knowledge of key GWCP features such as Autopilot, Integration Gateway, App Events, etc.
Strong experience with Apache Camel (routes, EIPs, error handling, transformations)
Proficient in Gosu, Java, and SQL
Experience with continuous integration and DevOps methodologies. Preferred tools include Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, TeamCity, Rally, SonarQube, etc.
Experience developing web services (SOAP and REST)
Understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure
Experience with Generative AI development tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in Agile teams
Nice to Have Skills
Guidewire cloud certification
Familiarity with DataDog and Splunk
Experience with self-managed Guidewire InsuranceSuite products
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
Experience with Spring Batch
Familiarity with python
