The Opportunity

Energy & Utilities is seeking an enthusiastic Inclusion & Belonging Trainee to join our People and Culture team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, eager to learn, and looking to build hands on experience in diversity, inclusion, employee engagement and administration.

Working closely with the Senior Manager Inclusion & Belonging and the wider People and Culture team, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of our Inclusion and Belonging Strategic Plan across Energy & Utilities. 

In this role, you will:

• Support the delivery of Inclusion and Belonging initiatives, events and programs across the business. 

• Assist with the collection of data, reporting and evidence to support strategic initiatives. 

• Provide administrative support to the Inclusion and Belonging team. 

• Help coordinate meetings, events and stakeholder engagement activities. 

• Maintain team documentation, records and SharePoint resources. 

• Assist with communications promoting Inclusion and Belonging programs and events. 

• Support monitoring and reporting of training compliance across Energy & Utilities. 

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in creating inclusive workplaces. 

• Year 12 Certificate or equivalent. 

• Previous customer service or administration experience is preferred. 

• Basic Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• High attention to detail and organisation skills. 

• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. 

• Confidence working with stakeholders across different levels of the business. 

• A collaborative approach and commitment to learning and professional development.
