The following procedure shall be utilized by the Inbound Receiving Coordinator for managing the receiving of all materials, manufacturing supplies, and 3rd party deliveries.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed and as specified by the Manager.

  • Manage all details related to receiving department.
  • Aid in maintaining the scheduling system for Inbound deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and advise Procurement of low inventories of products.
  • Ensure products are properly stored according to product label and inventory control procedures.
  • Work to maintain a clean, orderly and safe warehouse environment.
  • Ability to operate all warehouse equipment safely if necessary.
  • Assist in other areas as deemed necessary by Manager and/or Supervisor.
  • Assist with identifying areas to improve efficiency.
  • Follow written procedures and maintain GMP compliance.
  • Ability to operate proficiently in both SAP and Solomon.
  • Scanning all paperwork into SAP

Operations Support:

  • Create and maintain work instructions related to receiving department to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Compare and confirm the received shipment reconciles with proper paperwork; audit info ensuring WMS’s information is consistent.
  • Monitor, investigate, interpret issue(s), and clear queue errors in SAP to allow for month end and financials to close out properly.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum – High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 10 years or more Warehousing experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports data and industry publications.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from management.
  • Ability to effectively present information to management.

MATHEMATICAL AND COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Use of personal computer, keyboard, and software packages including Windows and Microsoft Office.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Solid organizational and filing skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Occasional overtime due to special projects.
