This position reports to:
Process Engineering Manager__
We are looking for an improvement project manager for our medium switchgear manufacturing unit in Brno – someone who knows what it takes to manage demanding projects and won't get derailed when the map doesn't exist yet. Your mission: to turn our Smart Factory vision into reality. And not through just one project, but through an entire portfolio of changes: automation, new technologies, layout redesigns, MES implementation, and new manufacturing processes. You will manage the entire cycle: from idea through feasibility study and procurement to implementation and ramp-up. We need someone who can set direction, build a team, and deliver results. And when things get stuck? You find a way, not an excuse.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Strategic investment projects with real impact on the future of manufacturing
- A combination of engineering, organization, communication, and leadership
- Space for independence, but also strong support from the process engineering team
Qualification for the role:
- Experience managing complex projects in manufacturing, automation, or technical environments
- Ability to independently drive projects from A to Z
- Excellent communication skills, drive, negotiation abilities
- Systematic and analytical thinking, common sense
- English for project communication + fluent in Czech language
- Advantage: knowledge of manufacturing systems, Lean, Six Sigma, agile management
