Job Description:
At BW Papersystems the Import/Export Coordinator would be responsible for globally supporting computing duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of exported and imported merchandise. This exciting role would also be responsible for managing invoices and shipping documents to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Primary Job Duties:
- Computes duties, distribution procedure, allocation of items, tariffs, price conversions, weight and a volume of merchandise exported/ imported to/from foreign destinations.
- Participates in planning and directing the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations.
- Evaluates and tracks invoices and shipping documents to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Analyzes the flow and delivery process to improve procedures.
- Maintains internal controls program to ensure compliance with regulations regarding shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.
- Communicates, maintains, and develops business relationships.
- Ensures all aspects of delivery standards are met. Handles moderate and complex problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/ Education:
- 3+ years of global importing/ exporting experience
- High School Diploma (Required)
