You’ll oversee import and export operations, ensure adherence to UK and international trade laws, and act as the go-to expert for customs processes and regulatory changes. What You’ll Do
Manage end-to-end import and export control operations across the UK & Ireland.
Prepare, validate, and oversee shipping and customs documentation.
Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with UK and international trade laws, export controls, and sanctions.
Apply correct tariff classifications to materials and monitor duty/tax accuracy.
Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory reporting, acting as main contact for HMRC or industry body audits.
Monitor and respond to regulatory changes, ensuring the business remains compliant and prepared.
Troubleshoot customs or shipping issues to avoid delays.
Share best practice with other Roche entities and support a sustainable approach to import/export activities.
What You Bring
Solid experience in import/export control, customs, or international trade.
Strong knowledge of UK and international trade laws and regulations.
