ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

Strong communication with MX broker and MX governmental agencies

Manages Import/export data base (Annex 24 Control de inventarios automatizado)

Manages Import/export data base (Annex 30 Sistema de Control de Cuentas de Créditos y Garantías)

SAT statement of account analysis (charges, credits, balances and overcharges)

Ensures a proper compliance with MX regulations focus on IMMEX companies (VAT certification, PROSEC, R8, AEO certification)

Creates, manages and update properly the import/export procedures related with Annex 24 & 30)

Participates in MX customs trainings focused on VAT certification in order to ensure the corresponding procedures within the company are aligned with.

Manages Customs compliance KPIs to communicate risk, escalations and continuos improvement opportunities

Based on MX Customs regulations ensures a correct disposal of scrap items (return to the US, destruction in MX, donations, a change on importation regime, etc)

Manages MX governmental audits related with annex 24 & 30)

Manages preventive audits of Import/export processes

Annex 24 database reconstruction

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and ten years of related experience (1-4 years: Database analyst I, 4-6 years: Database analyst II, 6-8 years: Database Specialist, 8-10 years: Database Sr. Specialist)
  • Bilingual in English and the local language
  • Demonstrated human relations and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer skills such spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to be self-motivated and be detailed oriented.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze and understand regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in international business administration, foreign trade or similar
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or similar
  • Three to five years of experience with statistics and big database analysis
