As we continue to grow upmarket, we are working with larger and more complex customers who require advanced configuration, operational guidance, and strategic onboarding. We are looking for an Implementation Advisor to lead implementations for our most strategic accounts, typically customers with 21+ users, complex workflows, and advanced configuration needs.

About the Role
The Implementation Advisor is responsible for leading the onboarding and implementation of FieldPulse for our most strategic and complex customers. These accounts often include multi-team organizations, advanced reporting needs, integrations, custom workflows, and large user counts.

This role goes beyond standard onboarding. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping customers design their workflow, configure the system correctly, and ensure long-term success with the platform.

You will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Technical teams to ensure smooth launches and strong customer outcomes. This position requires strong experience, confidence leading customer conversations, and the ability to manage complex implementations from start to finish. This role is highly consultative and requires strong experience in software implementation, customer-facing project management, and workflow design.

What You'll Do: 

Strategic Implementation Ownership

  • Lead implementations for large and complex customers, typically 21+ users
  • Manage full onboarding lifecycle from kickoff through go-live
  • Design implementation plans based on customer structure, workflow, and goals
  • Configure accounts with advanced setup including pricebook, reporting, permissions, integrations, and add-ons
  • Ensure customers are fully set up for long-term success before go-live

Consultative Customer Guidance

  • Act as a trusted advisor during implementation
  • Ask detailed discovery questions to understand how the customer operates
  • Recommend best practices based on experience with similar customers
  • Set clear expectations on capabilities, limitations, and timeline
  • Guide customers through change management and adoption

Project Management

  • Create and manage implementation timelines for strategic accounts
  • Track progress and hold customers accountable to milestones
  • Coordinate across internal teams when additional support is required
  • Escalate risks early to ensure successful outcomes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales on complex handoffs
  • Work with Customer Success on long-term account strategy
  • Collaborate with Technical Support on advanced issues
  • Provide feedback to Product on feature gaps and customer needs

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate notes in CRM and internal tools
  • Follow defined implementation process for strategic accounts
  • Help improve playbooks and documentation for complex onboarding
  • Assist with internal initiatives to improve scalability

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1–3+ years in implementation, customer success, consulting, or account management
  • Experience working with complex or mid-market / enterprise customers
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable leading calls with executives and business owners
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Able to manage multiple high-touch customers at once

Preferred:

  • SaaS implementation experience
  • Experience with CRM, field service, or fintech software
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop integrations
  • Experience with workflow design or operational consulting

Skills Required

  • 1+ years of experience in customer onboarding, implementation, or a similar customer-facing SaaS role
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple implementations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Grit, adaptability, and resilience in challenging customer situations
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting technical issues
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to build customer trust
  • Comfort with technology and ability to learn and teach software effectively
