The Role

The Implementation Specialist executes implementation strategy and delivers MRO’s release of information (ROI) solutions and services to new and existing client sites.   

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages, leads, and or provides support to all implementations of MRO’s Exchange Manager platform and any technology add-ons at client sites that include, but not be limited to:
    • Creating and executing effective and efficient release of information (ROI) workflows.
    • Training of all field users (ROI Specialists) on processes and software application use.
    • Resolving operational and technical issues as necessary.
  • Serve as primary resource between MRO and client throughout the implementation phase and until normal state of operations is achieved.
  • Develop positive work relationships with on-site clients and serves as a resource in the transition of the ROI process. 
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other MRO resources as necessary to ensure successful and optimal outcomes for all client implementations, including but not limited to, working with the Sales, Account Management, Compliance/Privacy, and the Operations teams to support the pre-implementation phase to the Operations “hand over” through sales calls, site assessments, policies and procedure meetings, and post-implementation calls.
  • Ensure that proper escalation procedures are followed when client timelines are adjusted or in jeopardy.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Managers of Implementation as appropriate.

SKILLS|EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s required or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s in Health Information Management (HIM) preferred (RHIA eligible accepted)
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, deep work ethic required.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) and exceptional listening skills required.
  • Excellent computer skills specifically MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain and strive in a daily high activity environment providing excellent customer service to meet objectives.
  • HIT and implementation experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel by air or road is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Position requires 75% travel by car and air as needed- or as directed by the VP, Enterprise Implementation or Director, Implementation Services
  • Position requires standing, sitting and lifting 20 pounds.
  • Position is performed in office and hospital/clinic settings.
  • Meet required health screening as directed by our healthcare clients.
