Implementation-Project Principal Specialist

You’ll support the delivery of implementation projects by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and working with internal teams, external partners, and customers. You’ll help ensure high-quality outcomes and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Common accountabilities

  • You apply relevant technical knowledge to support the team in delivering high-quality work and may share knowledge with colleagues when needed.
  • You understand key business drivers and contribute to solving problems by identifying practical solutions and risks.
  • You work independently with guidance when needed and contribute to cross-team initiatives.
  • You communicate information clearly and support planning discussions related to resources, timelines, and activities.
  • You contribute to continuous improvement of processes and ways of working.

Specific accountabilities

  • You coordinate and support the implementation project team, ensuring collaboration between Amadeus teams, external partners, and customers.
  • You track project activities, including defining deliverables, planning timelines, and supporting resource coordination.
  • You monitor quality and risks, supporting identification of mitigation actions when needed.
  • You prepare and share updates on progress, risks, and costs with stakeholders, including the Program Manager.
  • You participate in customer meetings and governance forums to support alignment and transparency.

About the ideal candidate

  • You have experience in project coordination, implementation, or similar roles, ideally in a technical or customer-facing environment.
  • You can organize tasks, track progress, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • You demonstrate problem-solving skills and contribute to identifying practical solutions and risks.
  • You are comfortable working independently with guidance when needed, and collaborating across teams.
  • You have exposure to project planning tools, reporting, or technical systems (experience with reservation, inventory, or departure control systems is helpful but not required).

Additional information

  • You will work with the Altéa Products Suite (Reservation, Inventory, or Departure Control systems) and related solutions.
  • You may support Change Request (CR) activities and project reporting.
