Job Summary:

As an Implementation Manager at Drata, you’ll be at the forefront of helping customers build trust at scale. You’ll guide organizations through the critical onboarding and implementation phase—laying the foundation for long-term success with our platform.

In this role, you’ll combine your expertise in project management, software implementation, and compliance to help customers adopt Drata efficiently and effectively. You’ll manage timelines, coordinate resources, configure the platform, and deliver a smooth onboarding experience that drives early adoption and customer confidence.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll own the customer relationship during implementation, collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, and directly influence how organizations scale securely with Drata. Your ability to plan, communicate, and execute will be essential to both customer success and Drata’s growth.

We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, organized, and driven by outcomes. At Drata, you’ll join a mission-led team that moves with urgency, leads with empathy, and builds with intention. You’ll help customers unlock the power of compliance automation—and play a vital role in shaping their first impression of Drata.

What you’ll do:

Project Management:

  • Own the end-to-end implementation process for assigned customers by creating project timelines, defining milestones, and ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule.

  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build trust-based relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and translating them into tailored implementation plans.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact during onboarding, anticipating needs and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Platform Configuration:

  • Configure and customize Drata’s SaaS platform to align with customer requirements while applying best practices to ensure scalable, sustainable adoption.

  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Product teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.

Training & Enablement:

  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities that empower customers to confidently use the platform.

  • Provide guidance and documentation to support customer self-sufficiency post-launch.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to coordinate seamless handoffs and ensure clear communication across the customer lifecycle.

  • Escalate risks or feedback proactively to support continuous improvement.

Process Improvement:

  • Contribute ideas to enhance implementation tools, templates, and processes that improve efficiency and scalability across the team.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in software implementation, consulting, or project management within a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Experience managing multiple customer implementations simultaneously and delivering projects on time and within scope.

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI, or FedRAMP, and an understanding of how they apply to customer environments.

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate concepts related to APIs, integrations, and data flows at a high level.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to build rapport and drive alignment across teams and customers.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • A customer-first mindset and passion for helping organizations achieve their security and compliance goals.

Leadership & Growth

  • Contribute to the team’s success by sharing best practices, supporting peers, and helping refine delivery approaches.

  • Demonstrate Drata’s core values of trust, empathy, and accountability in every customer and internal interaction.

  • Pursue continuous learning and growth—developing the skills to lead increasingly complex, high-visibility implementations over time.
