Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MES Implementation & Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of MES Implementation delivered by Bosch.
Implementation & Configuration:
Participate in the MES implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering to go-live.
Configure and customize MES modules to meet specific business requirements.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and data integrity.
Document system configurations and implementation processes.
Collaborate with vendors and SMS / consultants during the implementation process.
Support & Maintenance:
Provide day-to-day support to MES users, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Perform system maintenance tasks, including upgrades, patches, and backups.
Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.
Manage user access and security permissions.
Process Improvement & Optimization:
Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Work with manufacturing teams to define and implement best practices for MES usage.
Develop and implement new MES functionalities to support evolving business needs.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing operations.
Training & Documentation:
Develop and deliver training programs for MES users at various levels.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configuration, processes, and troubleshooting.
Keep abreast of new features and functionalities and share knowledge with the team.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with manufacturing, IT, engineering, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of MES with other systems.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on progress
Educational qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
Experience :
2-5 years of experience in implementing and supporting Cantier MES in a manufacturing environment.
Mandatory/requires Skill
Strong understanding of manufacturing process, including production planning, shop floor control, quality control and inventory management.
Proficiency in configuring and customizing MES modules.
Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
Experience with report writing tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, SSRS).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with [mention any specific industries relevant to your company, e.g., automotive, electronics, food & beverage]
Preferred Skills :
Experience with other MES systems.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Experience with PLC programming.
Experience with ERP integration (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Project management experience.
This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, excellent technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The candidate will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes.
Candidate would also be required to travel both for pre-sales and project related activities to customer locations
