About the Role
Join our team to deliver cutting-edge airport and passenger processing solutions. In this role, you will play a critical part in implementing systems that keep global travel moving—working closely with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders to deliver high-quality, seamless deployments.
You will act as a technical POC during project implementations, partnering with Project Managers to drive successful delivery while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
This is a customer-facing role, engaging with stakeholders across all levels—from C-suite executives to technical SMEs—while building long-term relationships and supporting future business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
-Leadership & Delivery
Act as the technical POC for large-scale implementation projects, overseeing all installation, configuration, and deployment activities
Develop and execute implementation plans in collaboration with the Project Manager
Provide regular status updates, risks, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
Represent implementation status in project governance forums and stakeholder meetings
Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of customer-facing projects (software, testing, and go-live)
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, system integrators (MSI), and third parties
Coordinate onsite activities with customer teams and subcontractors, including hardware installation and connectivity setup
Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and drive closure with internal SMEs
Support pre-sales activities, including solution presentations and technical discussions
-Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and long-term partnership
Advise customers on system architecture, upgrades, product usability, and best practices
Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and operations teams to align delivery outcomes
Ensure timely validation and sign-off of interface control documents (ICDs) and deliverables
-Technical Delivery
Lead the implementation and rollout of airport IT solutions, including common-use and self-service systems
Support infrastructure setup, including LAN, firewalls, connectivity, and related components
Gather and document customer functional and technical requirements
Drive interface management across systems within project scope
Facilitate testing phases including AAT, UAT, SAT, and OAT
Prepare and document test plans, test cases, and implementation documentation
Perform commissioning of self-service equipment prior to airline acceptance testing
Conduct system validation and support quality assurance processes in line with SDLC practices
Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, and Engineering throughout the project lifecycle
About the ideal candidate
Knowledge with Airport Management Systems (AMS) or Passenger Processing Systems (PPS).
Understanding of network concepts (e.g., GWAN, LAN, DHCP) or willingness to learn.
Familiarity with software development principles, Windows OS, and client/server architecture is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of version control systems and hardware/electrical components.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and work collaboratively in diverse teams.
Willingness to travel frequently to both international and domestic locations and accommodations available as needed.
Relevant degree in Engineering or Mechanical or Mechatronics or a related stream (or equivalent practical experience)
