Job Title
In this scope, the Implementation Engineer is responsible for:
Planning, in consultation with the Project Manager, the implementation activities of his/her project including airline deliveries and associated services.
Conducting the implementation via task coordination and stakeholders reporting
Fitting Altéa related product setup to the airline business needs.
Supporting airline engineers for their migration to the new product.
Airline systems migration or implementation requires the Implementation Engineer to have a fairly reasonable knowledge of the airline business and Amadeus solutions, especially in the area of security.
Main Accountabilities
Implementation activities
§ Define / Work with Project Manager & Solution Consultants to plan the overall migration strategy from legacy airline to Amadeus product.
§ Support the customer with reengineered business processes.
§ Perform system setup according to Customer requirement and agreed scope
§ Oversee the correction of documented problems
§ Collaborate with various Amadeus Stakeholders to ensure Implementation procedure aligns with overall migration strategy
§ Organize and execute the necessary testing with the Customer
§ Execute any necessary steps of Cutover Rehearsals and Production Cutover
Quality
§ Ensure high quality of deliverables.
§ Ensure efficiency of proposed solutions
§ Ensure compliance with industry standards and corporate strategies.
§ Support and document the industrialization of implementation processes within the team.
The successful candidate will gain a cross-functional and technical expertise on the Amadeus products as well as a global understanding of the Airline IT architecture and business
Business Travel (~10% of the time) to customer-site expected based on project requirements
Education
A Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
A Certification on Azure Cloud Platform and/or any Data Analytics tool would be a PLUS
Technical/Functional Skills
· Good knowledge of the airline IT business and Amadeus IT products, especially in the areas of Airline Inventory and Revenue Management/Dynamic Pricing
· Amadeus technical architecture - desirable
· Desirable: Familiar with Change management process in Amadeus to perform technical setup (DBOSR, OTF, LSS, JOBOSR/ORCA, Control-M framework)
· Open back-ends technical knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project)
