Position Overview
As an Implementation Consultant, your strong industry knowledge will help our customers to get the best out of their Autodesk AEC products, put innovative solutions into real world practice. You will analyze existing workflows and processes in the context of the customer’s business and project goals. Working with key business unit stakeholders and project teams, you will assist in defining new workflows, configuring software, enabling teams, and mentoring mega project teams to ensure successful implementation. By documenting your engagement and applying a “train-the-trainer” approach, you will help our customers scale impactful solutions across their organization to achieve meaningful business results.
Roles and Responsibilities
Analysis of existing workflows and processes
Hands on experience on projects with Electronic Document Management System
Knowledge and experience on Autodesk products like BIM 360, Autodesk Forma, Insights, Construction Management, Cost Management and application of industry standards like ISO19650
Experience in sustainability, estimation and tendering, quantity takeoff and progress monitoring
Process definition, planning, and implementation of new technologies and workflows
Provide coaching, change management to customers (external & partners
Provides innovative solutions to meet customer and industry challenges based on Autodesk product solutions
Lead implementation consulting engagements with customers
Apply Autodesk product sets to detailed industry requirements and workflows
Guide customers in the best application of Autodesk products; define and document detailed use cases
Configure solutions based on product capabilities and customer requirements
Define migration approach of customer data and standards into Autodesk products
Collaborates with customers (external), partners and internal stakeholders consulting groups (internal) to resolve technical issues
Provide coaching and mentoring to customers to drive adoption and consumption
Provide coaching and mentoring to partners to enable the scalable delivery of packages service offerings
Provide input to sales and proposal presentations and identify additional product/services opportunities in customer organization
Contributes task estimation and task description in Scopes of Work as well as scope clarification with customers
Travel up to 50%
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Knowledge of Autodesk products like Revit, BIM 360/Forma Build, Design Collaboration, Model Coordination, Cost management, Power BI etc
Hands on experience with construction project management and scheduling
Industry experience: Infrastructure, Building, Construction
Minimum 8 years+ relevant experience (although the preference would be for 10 years)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ACC, BIM 360, Building Connected, or other products of Autodesk’s Portfolio is a plus
Construction industry experience with a general contractor or subcontractor projects including onsite processes
Some experience in consulting, client solutions, services, or similar experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related degree. Advanced degree (MS, Ph.D.) would be a plus
