Make Your Mark:
The Implementation Consultant is responsible for implementing the company's accounting software products with new and/or existing clients. The Implementation Consultant is also responsible for consulting with mid-market clients regarding best practices and client business needs in order to best configure the software and provide exceptional customer service.You'll Get To:
- Lead multiple concurrent implementation projects, working in line with established methodologies and best practice procedures.
- Take ownership of implementation milestones, ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and customer satisfaction expectations.
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation throughout the implementation lifecycle, including tracking billable time, updating Salesforce, and managing expenses.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing clear communication on risks, progress, expectations, and next steps.
- Deliver training and guidance to clients, enabling them to use products effectively and confidently based on their specific business needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor, supporting and consulting with clients during configuration to drive engagement, adoption, and long-term success with BlackLine solutions.
- Investigate and resolve application issues throughout the implementation cycle, ensuring a smooth client experience.
- Contribute to additional activities and responsibilities as required, supporting both team and client success.
What You'll Bring:
- Working knowledge of accounting processes (e.g. month-end close) and the ability to apply this in a practical, client-focused environment.
- 2+ years' experience working with BlackLine
- Strong client-facing experience, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including presenting project updates and solutions.
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, translating these into clear functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous delivery challenges to drive successful outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
