🎯 Key Missions
• PSS Migration: Take care of RES product settings (Keywords, Negotiated space) + PNRs Migration (from legacy PSS to Altea)
• RES products standalone implementations (Keywords, Negotiated space)
🎯 Overall Purpose
The Implementation Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of solutions to the airline, organizing and planning implementation schedules, monitoring timelines, coordinating deliveries with R&D teams, and ensuring migration plans are completed. The role includes supporting airline customers throughout the implementation (functional, testing, etc.).
This position involves direct interaction with customers, requiring strong organization and hands-on working style. The candidate will gain deep functional expertise in Order Implementation and have the opportunity to grow in project management. They will be the primary Amadeus contact for a set of airline customers, coordinating and supporting all activities needed to implement RES products.
🔁 Regular Activities
• Analyze customer requirements, configure products, and manage implementation in test and production environments.
• Solution support: Guide airlines on configurations based on requirements.
• Functional support: First-level support, troubleshooting, consulting for product implementation and filing support.
• Service/consultancy activities: Assess customer product usage, define tailored service proposals, and deliver them.
• Project management: Plan projects, track activities, coordinate workshops, run status meetings, monitor actions and risks.
• Establish joint baseline plans with airlines and track follow-up activities.
• Coordinate internally with R&D and product development teams.
📘 Main Implementation Responsibilities
🧩 Functional Support (Reservation Products Implementations)
• Support and guide during sales engagement to gather customer requirements and define Amadeus solutions.
• Analyze customer business processes, systems, and service needs.
• Define optimized solutions matching customer requirements.
• Identify actions required to integrate Amadeus products/services.
• Implement and validate customized RES products/solutions.
• Provide functional support and problem resolution to sales and customer teams.
• Offer consultancy in business processes, assess product usage, and deliver tailored services.
• Provide post-implementation maintenance support.
📊 Project Management
• During PSS migration: Define overall migration strategy, handle migration activities/rehearsals/cutover, manage product setup in test & production.
• Support system setup, test phases, and migration activities.
• Support UAT and BPT testing from the airline.
• Lead implementation and service projects.
• Define overall activity planning and track progress.
• Liaise with all Amadeus teams: ADP, DEV, PDef, PM, Pre-Sales.
• Prioritize tasks.
🧭 Other Responsibilities
• Contribute to improving implementation processes.
• Lead knowledge transfer and industrialization of new Amadeus solutions.
• Support creation and delivery of new services related to the Product Portfolio.

🔧 Specific Skills
• Strong knowledge of airline IT business, including Amadeus core reservation systems, PNRs, and Altea Reservation.
• Familiarity with airline booking systems, PSS, feeds, ticketing IT solutions, ancillaries, fares, and offers.
• Expertise in search, shopping, and pricing products for airlines.
• Basic understanding of airport and airline operations.
🎓 Education & Experience
• Engineering degree or equivalent IT work experience.
• Work experience: 4–6 years.
