📍 Location – Bangalore | ✈️ Up to 10% travel to customer locations
📝 Job Summary
The Fares Implementation Team is responsible for deploying products and services for airline customers. We implement Pre‑Shopping / Shopping / Pricing products across airline direct channels, regardless of the interface (Cryptic | ARDWeb | Digital Commerce | RefX | NDC | WBS | eRetail XML, etc.).
You will act as the primary Amadeus point of contact for a portfolio of airline customers, coordinating all activities required for successful implementation of the Fares product suite:
- Amadeus Ticket Changer (ATC) Product Suite
- Airline Service Fees
- Instant Search
- Flex Pricer / ATC Shopper
- Branded Fares
🎯 Key Responsibilities
🚀 Project Leadership
• Lead implementation and service projects, ensuring successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Manage the full project lifecycle through planning, monitoring, and support during implementation.
• Define activity timelines and track progress through project governance.
🛠️ Technical & Functional Implementation
• Analyse customer requirements, configure products, and support deployment across test and production environments.
• Guide airline customers on filing CAT31/CAT33, Fare Families, and Fees with ATPCO, FareXpert, and Branded Fares.
• Conduct detailed testing of solutions before customer validation.
• Provide system and data setup guidance during testing and migration phases.
🧩 Support & Consulting
• Deliver functional support and troubleshooting during Fares product implementation and fare filing.
• Perform service and consulting activities by analysing customer needs and product usage.
• Support Sales teams and customer functional teams with expert product knowledge.
• Provide post‑implementation maintenance and continuous support.
🤝 Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams — Implementation, Account Management, Project Management, Pre‑Sales.
• Document learnings and contribute to improving implementation processes.
• Participate in industrialization and creation of new services around the product portfolio.
• Willingness to travel 5–10% within APAC.
🧠 Knowledge & Skills
• Solid understanding of airline fares and pricing (Must)
• Expertise in ATPCO categories (CAT31 / CAT33) / Fare Families / Ticketing Fees
• RMS / Dynamic Pricing (advantage)
• Altéa Reservation / Ticketing (advantage)
• Strong knowledge of the airline IT landscape
• Excellent communication skills (customer-facing role)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Proactive, accountable, and collaborative in a multicultural environment
• Project management skills, including change management and tracking
• Energetic, adaptable, and a strong team player
• Interest in innovation (added advantage)
🎓 Education & Experience
• Engineering degree or University degree in Computer Science (or equivalent IT experience)
• IATA certifications (optional)
• 4–6 years relevant work experience
