JOB TITLE: Implementation Analyst

EMPLOYER: AssistRx

DEPARTMENT: Implementation Team

REPORTS TO: Manager, Implementation Analyst

EFFECTIVE DATE: 06/22/2026

Summary: The Implementation Analyst captures client context, constraints, and business goals, translating them into structured, actionable inputs for product teams. This role requires a clear understanding of platform capabilities, configuration boundaries, and technical complexity, and works in close partnership with Implementation Consultants and delivery teams, supporting – but not replacing – Product Owners. Implementation Analysts work from templates owned and maintained by Product — cloning and populating them to capture client-specific context, configuration needs, and program details. They do not author new feature specifications or create requirements outside of existing templates. When a client need falls outside available templates, the Implementation Analyst escalates to Product rather than attempting to document it independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Document structured client discovery sessions – capture patient population, therapy characteristics, prescriber and pharmacy channel design, call center workflow requirements, data inputs and outputs, and edge cases
  • Translate client conversations into structured delivery inputs: configuration specifications, data mapping requirements, workflow documentation, and edge case handling guides
  • Partner with the Implementation Consultant to validate that the program design accurately reflects client intent before delivery begins
  • Review configuration and builds during development to confirm alignment with documented client requirements – flag discrepancies before they reach QA
  • Identify when a client requirement cannot be met through existing platform capabilities and surface it clearly to the Implementation Consultant for formal escalation to Product
  • Maintain current documentation throughout the engagement – requirements, decisions, change log, and open questions
  • Participate in UAT for the programs they support, where appropriate, coordinating with the Implementation Manager on participant logistics
  • Support the development of training and change management materials by providing accurate documentation of configured workflows and edge case handling
  • Contribute to template and knowledge base maintenance – document reusable patterns and client context insights that can improve future implementations
  • Support the hypercare period post-launch by monitoring issues and helping triage whether they represent configuration errors, training gaps, or platform defects requiring escalation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in a business analysis, client implementation, or technical documentation role
  • Ability to facilitate structured discovery sessions and produce clear, precise documentation from complex client conversations
  • Strong written communication skills – configuration specifications, workflow documentation, and edge case guides must be usable by technical teams without clarification
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce-based platforms and familiarity with hub service workflows
  • Understanding of data mapping, basic ETL concepts, and how data flows between client systems and AssistRx platforms is a plus
  • Specialty pharmacy, patient access, or hub services experience preferred
  • Comfort reviewing technical configurations and identifying discrepancies against documented requirements
  • Familiarity with Jira or equivalent tools for documenting and tracking requirements
  • Agile familiarity preferred – understanding of how product request intake works and when to escalate

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Structured listening – able to extract precise, actionable information from complex client conversations
  • Precision documentation – produces artifacts that are usable by technical and operational teams without interpretation
  • Platform literacy – understands what the platform can and cannot do; recognizes the line between configuration and development
  • Collaborative working style – partners closely with Implementation Consultant and Implementation Coordinator as a delivery unit
  • Attention to detail and consistency across engagement documents
  • Intellectual curiosity – asks the questions that surface requirements the client didn't know to articulate
