Job Description
Summary: Provides implementation project management support for new client implementations, existing clients and renewals, as appropriate. Captures, coordinates, and completes business requirements, and participates in readiness activities to support clients during the project lifecycle..
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support new client implementations, including but not limited to execution of implementation plans and provide support to Implementation Manager(s) for projects.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to document requirements (actively participate, provide feedback, and clarify requirements) during the implementation discovery phase and assists with creation of all project documentation.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to perform activities to support the timely and accurate completion of deliverables in accordance with the PBM transition project plan.
- Schedule project-related meetings with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders and assist with meeting facilitation, agenda development, and documentation of follow-up parking lot / action items.
- Work with Implementation Manager(s) on timely tracking implementation deliverables and work, monitoring, and reporting progress on implementation project including action items and decisions for work streams/projects and monitoring milestone reports so that any impacts to schedule can be escalated as needed.
- Compile and communicate, as directed, Project/Program Status reports and decks to internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to change management controls for changes to project scope and/or requirements.
- Understand, document, and communicate any identified potential risks or challenges to the project.
- Facilitate Go-Live readiness activities for new client implementations for issue identification, documentation, corrective action and preventive measures.
- Review and document lessons learned for each project.
- Create or contribute to implementation process flows or value add documents and assist with development of implementation policies & procedures, tools and best practices.
- Follow project management principles, department key result areas, and team procedures that support the smooth flow of scheduling, communication, monitoring and controlling.
- Develop effective relationships with new business customers and internal & external business partners.
- Collaborate with Implementation Managers on specific project assignments.

This is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience along with 5 years in a related field with 3 years progressive experience in Account Management and/or implementation environment.
Computer Skills
Intermediate to advanced skill set in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Outlook. Knowledge of SmartSheets. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Visio. Upon role acceptance successful completion of MedImpact Internal Certifications within one (1) year (i.e. MedAccess Certification and Service Excellence Certification).
Other Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge and understanding of PBM, benefit designs / formularies, files exchanges (eligibility, accumulators, claims) and pharmacy networks.
- Previous experience with SharePoint, Smartsheets, SalesForce, Visio, or other related project management/client management tools preferred.
- Ability to manage a flexible work schedule, including extended work week hours, holidays, and weekends.
- Project coordination experience within a corporate environment coordinating multiple teams with constant deadlines and driving project processes.
- Strong written and in-person communication using clear, simple language that all stakeholders can understand.
- Previous experience working directly with customers and good presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and support project / issue resolution.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Working Hours
This is an exempt level position requiring one to work the hours needed to get the job done. Therefore, one must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required. This may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business. Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
