Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Scientist in Immunology to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our immunology research programs, contributing to the discovery and development of innovative therapies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of immunological research, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address critical scientific challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, execute, and analyze experiments to investigate immune system mechanisms and pathways.
Lead research projects focused on immunology, including innate and adaptive immune responses, immune modulation, and disease pathogenesis.
Develop and optimize in vitro and in vivo models to study immune function and therapeutic interventions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including bioinformatics, molecular biology, and clinical research, to drive project success.
Present research findings at internal and external meetings, conferences, and through peer-reviewed publications.
Mentor and guide junior scientists and research associates, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment.
Stay current with advancements in immunology and related fields to identify new research opportunities and technologies.
Qualifications:
Education: Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field. Postdoctoral experience is highly preferred.
Experience:
For Senior Scientist: 5+ years of relevant research experience in academia, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
For Research Scientist: 2-4 years of relevant research experience.
Technical Expertise:
Strong background in immunology, including a deep understanding of immune cell biology, signaling pathways, and immune-related diseases.
Hands-on experience with techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, cell culture, CRISPR/Cas9, and other molecular biology methods.
Experience with animal models of disease is highly desirable.
Skills:
Proven ability to design and execute complex experiments independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of scientific publications and presentations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in drug discovery or translational research.
Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and data analysis.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for preclinical and clinical research.
Experience working with Non-Human Primate (NHP) immune models.
Expertise in non-viral delivery platforms.
Proficiency in translational assay development.

Pay Range:
$124,200 - $186,400Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
