The Immigration Specialist, Global Mobility, will provide operational support for immigration and global mobility services, with a primary focus on U.S. immigration and global business travel. This role will work closely with the Global Mobility team members, report to the Immigration Program Lead, and partner with HR, business leadership, and corporate functions to support a high-quality, compliant employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support efficient Global Mobility operations through clear process documentation, timely communications, and practical issue resolution.
  • Own global business travel processes, providing country-specific guidance to employees and business leaders (including cost and timeline estimates), and timely complete related internal service request tickets in close partnership with external vendors.
  • Coordinate and review immigration initiation questionnaires and filings/applications, including business visa/work permit applications and renewals, ensuring compliance and timely processing.
  • Partner with external vendors to manage business/work visas, permits, and permanent residency applications across global entities.
  • Prepare travel letters and support advisement of onboarding compliance documentation (e.g., I-9 forms) for visa holders and business travelers, as applicable.
  • Assist in responding to business leader, employee, and vendors inquiries regarding immigration matters and case statuses, with an initial focus on North America and expanding to other countries as training allows.
  • Communicate immigration requirements, government procedures, cost estimates, and expected timelines clearly to HR partners, employees, and business leaders.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records and reporting for immigration cases and business travel.
  • Contribute to internal content creation for mobility webpages and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in ad-hoc global mobility function project initiatives (e.g., process improvements, implementations, etc.) and stay current on global mobility industry trends.
  • Ensure adherence to Global Mobility policies, procedures, and country-specific regulations, including compliance with country laws and employee benefits.
  • Ability to network, both internally and with industry professionals, to stay up-to-date on current Global Mobility, immigration, compliance, cross-border tax, business travel, and industry trends. Virtual and in-person networking opportunities may be required to stay atop trends.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience in remote-first environments.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office applications, and mobility/vendor platforms.
