This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about immigration law and interested in developing their experience in immigration litigation, courtroom advocacy, and complex case strategy.

Immigration law experience is highly valued, but strong attorneys with solid legal skills and a genuine interest in building a career in immigration law are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities: 

  • Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, ICE, and other government agencies.
  • Manage and litigate a diverse caseload, including removal defense, asylum, family-based petitions, waivers, and employment-based immigration matters.
  • Prepare for and attend immigration court hearings, bond hearings, USCIS interviews, and other proceedings.
  • Develop case strategies and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal filings.
  • Prepare clients for interviews, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Review and approve filings prepared by paralegals and case managers.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding legal guidance, case strategy, and updates.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure filings are accurate and timely.
  • Maintain organized case files and detailed case notes.
  • Stay current on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality client representation.

Qualifications: 

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. state; Florida Bar membership preferred.
  • Immigration law experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with USCIS and/or EOIR preferred.
  • Strong interest in immigration litigation and courtroom advocacy.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and legal support staff.
  • Strong commitment to client service and quality legal representation.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.

Skills Required
