About the role:
We are looking for an agile Project Engineer for our PMO Industrial Manufacturing Engineering EMEA APAC Food Preparation Team. You will drive planning and execution to deliver wide range of production equipment, assembly-lines and solutions for production of hoods and hobs in our plants, with focus on Hangzhou factory.
Work will be focused on industrialization plans, capacity, re-engineering projects; in collaboration with Manufacturing, R&D, Product Care, Quality and Product Line Teams.
What you’ll do:
- Leading IME projects in Plants belonging to Food Preparation in APAC Region with fulfilment of all required steps of Engineering projects such as:
- Creation and follow up of overall project plan.
- Definition of competitive process setup with Lean principles, benchmarking solutions versus the competition.
- Preparation of technical specifications for equipment according to Industrial Manufacturing Engineering guidelines, including safety and sustainability requirements.
- Equipment design reviews and commissioning with suppliers.
- Supervision of equipment installation in cooperation with Plant ME.
- Drive the debugging and ramp-up phase with the Suppliers and Plant ME teams.
- Lead manufacturability analysis of New Products including PFMEA study.
- Ensure full alignment on safety and environment requirements, according to IME guidelines, timing and capex target.
- Ensure test process compliance with relevant technical standards and company guidelines as well as alignment with Technology Roadmap.
- Apply Lean and innovative Industry 4.0 solutions, reducing energy consumption with aim to achieve the best-in-class product cost.
Who you are:
- University Degree, Technical/Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Electrics or Mechatronics (expected 3 years of experience in similar industry and role)
- Experience with industrial equipment, lean production, knowledge of robotized automatic equipment.
- Strong communication skills, openness to change, easily adaptable in new working environment, goal-oriented, self-motivated, good analytical and methodical skills for problem solving skills, keen on working in multicultural teams
- Required languages: fluent English and Chinese written and spoken.
- Knowledge of CAD systems 2D mandatory. 3D would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of equipment safety norms, CCC, preferably European Machinery Standards and PFMEA methodology.

Skills Required
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics)
