The Wilmington Hospital Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Imaging Services Manager. This individual will also work every weekend (Nights) and every other holiday requirement (Nights).
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Direct Responsibility for the business operations of In-Hospital Imaging (Department of Radiology) at Wilmington Hospital, Direct management of section supervisors, PACS Admin, and clerical supervisors. 
  • Management responsibility for Section supervisors, and DISC Room supervisor.

  • Collaborate with Outpatient Operations Manager in developing systemwide Imaging policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with the Imaging Services management team, Vice President and Director of Imaging Services, and Radiology Department Chairman to ensure patient care services are provided in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

  • Responsible for determining staffing requirements; allocating, shifting, and assigning staff to provide 24-hour/7 days a week service in a cost-effective manner.

  • Participate in the development and management of the capital and operating budgets.

  • Ensures Imaging equipment is available and functioning properly.

  • Human Resource activities including interviewing, hiring, counseling, evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc.

  • Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established safety rules and practices; reports to In-Hospital Director, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in management or related field.
  • Three to Five years of related management/supervisory experience, required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted with Bachelor Degree in management or related field obtained within 4 years.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing staff in a high volume Imaging Department.  Superior Customer Service Skills; internal and external.  ARRT or CNMT certification in one or more imaging modalities.  Licensed in State of Delaware

Annual Compensation Range $110,177.60 - $176,280.00This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
