The Imaging Informatics Specialists acts as the first point of contact for all customers seeking technical support over phone, email or chat for a variety of imaging systems (PACS), software and hardware across the Healthsystem. Ensures smooth daily operations by troubleshooting issues, assists with upgrades and testing, maintains ticket system records and knowledge base.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Education: High School Diploma plus 1 year vocational school
Experience: Two years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

*Must be able to develop and maintain professional relationships.
*Associate Degree Preferred. Prefer graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology or have an appropriate IT background.
*Demonstrated excellent problem solving skills.
*Prefer in-depth understanding of Imaging PACS and related software systems as well as general computer knowledge.
*Computer literacy (spreadsheets, word processing, database management, Microsoft Office)
*Must have strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines.

*Preferred knowledge of and experience with Imaging PACS systems (SECTRA Radiology and Philips Cardiology) and related software hardware including but not limited to Powerscribe, Powershare, etc.
