Job Overview:
As an IFS Platform Principal Tech Lead at LPL Financial, you will lead a team and train technical resources to build, support, and enhance Move Money workflows. Workflows include: Checks, ACH, Journals, Wires, and Complex Retirement. Architecting and integrating the system to optimize performance and user experience. Technical knowledge of the Move Money landscape including .Net API's, BetaNXT, Bottomline, GIACT, SmartyStreets, and AWS.

Build and lead a world-class software engineering team, fostering growth, mentorship, and collaboration among team members.

Develop and execute talent acquisition and retention strategies to recruit and retain top engineering talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive team that thrives on continuous learning and development.

Foster an open and collaborative culture within the engineering organization and cross-functional teams, encouraging innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Promote transparency, effective communication, and feedback loops to maintain a cohesive and motivated team environment.
Strategic Planning and Execution

Work closely with executive leadership to align engineering strategies with business objectives and develop long-term technology roadmaps.

Drive the execution of key engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and timely delivery of impactful projects.

Execute within an agile framework with a focus on delivering high value solutions frequently to our customers.

Partner with product to translate business problem statements into technical solutions.

Requirements:

8+ years of proven experience with iPipeline's IFS platform, with an established delivery ability and track record

8+ years of experience leading and managing an iPipeline IFS platform workstream including experience leading collaboration with technical and non-technical team members

5+ years of experience working with Microsoft, open source technologies, SQL Server databases, CI/CD pipelines
-
5+ years of excellent understanding of SOA principles and design patterns
-
5+ years of knowledge in design, refactoring, and test-driven development

8+ years of experience within a combination of .NET, JavaScript, SQL Server, Git, Visual Studio and/or front-end technologies including CSS, Semantic HTML and Responsive Design

Collaborate with product management to deliver world class technical solutions to our customers that are intuitive and frictionless.

Define, monitor, and govern software development best practices, coding standards, and architecture guidelines to maintain a cohesive and efficient engineering ecosystem.
Pay Range:
$155,300.00 - $258,800.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
