In this role, you will:

System and Documentation Management

  • Being the team expert with our Quality, Regulatory and Document Control requirements, databases and systems (EtQ) across IFP
  • Partnering with Change Management & Dossier Specialists to enhance IFP R&D Ways of Working and drive teams’ effectiveness through compliance to best practices and standard business processes across IFP teams

Specifications

  • Finished Product: supporting the IFP R&D team to ensure all R&D specifications are kept up to date and new materials compliant by giving visibility of expiring specs and EtQ technical support
  • Raw Material: working with R&D, Mills, Procurement and Suppliers to gather the right technical documentation & create RM specs, whilst keeping updated our current specifications
  • Understanding and implementing the appropriate approach needed for our specifications to meet future KC requirements, e.g. product acceptance, universal template, new SAP based system (PLM)

R&D Quality Manual

  • Maintaining and updating a R&D Quality manual/map as we revisit, develop and deploy standards, procedures, and controlled documents within IFP. Supporting and organising training, when relevant, during the deployment of new Quality procedures
  • Playing an active role to ensure coordination and alignment with other key functions, such as Technical Quality, Mill Quality, Mill Operations and other mill & support functions, while EMEA works toward meeting the requirements of KC global QMS

R&D Sustainability Strategy

  • Tracking the impact of our collective R&D programmes to help achieve KC 2030 Sustainability Goals
  • Maintaining our sustainability tracker for Scope 3 emissions and Natural Forest Fibre usage
  • Coordinating the update of activities and other inputs within IFP R&D, while linking with Procurement and Planning to keep it updated with the latest demand forecasts

Projects Support

  • GPSR compliance: coordinating with Mill Quality team and IFP R&D team members the completion of developed R&D templates and Risk Assessment to meet the new General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) by end 2024
  • Opportunities to be involved in innovation & renovation, cost saving or continuous improvement activities

LIST JOB REQUIREMENTS HERE {Keep to 5-6 bullet points}

  • Bachelor Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or proven practical experience in a technical, scientific, quality or product supply field
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the quality systems and document control
  • Comfortable and competent with data handling and working with data management and document control systems
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Team working skills to effectively collaborate in a multi-functional environment, e.g. with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality and Product Safety teams
  • Fluent in English
  • Good IT and Excel skills

Preferred (not essential, but desired):

  • Experience with material recipes, product specifications, or packaging specifications.
  • Acquainted with EtQ (Excellence through Quality) systems
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to problem solve through business challenges, using LEAN, Six Sigma, or other recognized techniques to tackle complex issues, help identify the root cause of the problem and develop control solutions for long-term control and/or containment.
