We are seeking a highly skilled WebMethods Technical Lead with 7–10 years of hands-on experience to lead enterprise integration and B2B projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in IBM webMethods, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of EAI and B2B integrations. This is a contract-based position with immediate requirements for an upcoming project.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions using IBM webMethods Suite.
Architect scalable integration solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Manage a team of developers, assigning tasks and ensuring quality deliverables.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Handle configuration, deployment, and support of WebMethods components including Integration Server, Trading Networks, MWS, Designer, and Universal Messaging.
Ensure secure and reliable B2B communications with trading partners using protocols like AS2, FTP, SFTP.
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices.
Maintain documentation for system design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in IBM webMethods platform.
- Strong expertise in:
- Integration Server, Trading Networks, MWS, Designer
- EDI, flat file, XML, JSON, SOAP/REST APIs
- Partner onboarding and B2B communications (AS2, SFTP)
- Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and version control (Git, Jenkins, etc.).
- Exposure to logging/monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, ELK, Optimize).
- Hands-on experience with performance tuning and error handling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
