The Role

FMS (Fleet Management System) is a global application used by the Ford Product Development Skill team to track the usage of prototype vehicles for testing.  It’s developed using IBM’s COTS product “Maximo” and currently runs on Maximo MAS 9.1.  The Maximo Developer position requires over 5 + years of overall IT experience, and 4+ years of experience developing solutions using Maximo and using Core Java.

Responsibilities
  1. Maximo Configuration, BIRT Reports Application designer, Domains, Escalation, Automation scripts.
  2. Application Enhancements using Core Java and Maximo.
  3. REST API using Maximo out of the box API's Maximo customization, Java Bean Customizations, Maximo Security Administration
  4. Manage and resolve day to day technical issues/Troubleshoot process/functionality related to IBM Maximo Support
  5. Understanding existing system and code. Optimize code being used. Contribute to New development work in Maximo
  6. Integration with other applications using Maximo Integration framework.

  1. Practice Pair Programming and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  2. Build and maintain Angular responsive web applications
  3. Design and implement Microservices architecture
  4. SQL databases Handling
  5. Build REST APIs using Spring Boot and java
  6. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  7. DevOps practices for seamless development and deployment
  8. Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  9. Sprint Security and Sprint JPA
