Details of the Division and Team:

The Institutional Client Group is a global sales team covering various institutional clients including Hedge Funds, Insurance companies, Asset Managers, Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Bank.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Responsible in pricing, executing multi-products in FX, bonds, rates, while supporting senior sales in Malaysia on operational matters on a day-to-day basis

  • Covering institutional clients in Malaysia

  • Working with team head and regional senior sales and collaboratively with partners such as structuring and trading in growing the franchise together.

  • Developing a deep understanding of client needs and expectations by ensuring regular contact and constantly researching appropriate sales solutions

  • Building working relationships with origination, trading, research, client services, and operations to ensure effective end to end client/product delivery

  • Operating within the relevant legal, regulatory and bank policy requirements

  • Identifying and contacting prospective clients and building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business

Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor degree or above, finance, mathematics, science or commerce preferred

  • 3-5 years of relevant experiences in global markets sales covering FX, bonds, rates and derivatives.

  • Persatuan Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia (PPKM) license holder is mandatory

  • Good understanding and knowledge of FX, Bonds, and other asset classes. Multi-asset experience will be a plus.

  • Ability to build institutional client relationships in Malaysia

  • Ability to interact and fit into a diverse team of sales in Malaysia and regionally

  • Highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to react quickly and efficiently to different queries;

  • High attention to detail and high degree of organization
