IADS Threat Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a CACI Adversary IADS Threat Analyst, you will serve as a key member of a Threat Analyses and Strategic Planning Team embedded with Special Operations commands across Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR), and other Strategic Partners across the enterprise. You will directly support planning and policy development for large and complex projects. You will be responsible for providing Adversary IADS Threat analyses and assessments in support of readiness, modernization, and innovation initiatives. You will, through IAD Threat analyses, contribute to developing new solutions, processes, and standards while communicating with parties external to your organization, the interagency, and its community of interest (COI). You will be responsible for providing accurate, relevant, and timely analyses. Your analyses and assessments will coordinate and integrate all pertinent input and data from other functional groups and technical personnel.

Responsibilities:

You will also support the following tasks:

• Serve as the baseline embedded Intel Analyst.
• Develop detailed threat analysis and assessments against national and global threats to identify risks, gaps, and vulnerabilities and recommend countermeasures.
• Leverage and deliver the tools, expert analysis, and tradecraft required to provide timely, relevant, and understandable intelligence material to inform decision-makers and influence outcomes.
• Conduct all-source research, analyses, reporting, processes, and databases.
• Teach, coach, and mentor supported SOF unit intelligence personnel to master these activities.
• Work with other Analysts, Planners, and Integrators in developing a range of operations and intelligence products as well as material and training solutions. 
• Provide consistent real-time updates of current analyses and assessments to existing Intel databases. (Analysts on-call from the Threat Analysis Team include: GEOINT, OSINT, MASINT, HUMINT, *Sub-T, *dense urban Terrain, *Insider Threat, *C-UAS) (SMEs on-call from Mod & Innovation Cell include *UGVs, EMS, EW, KM; ORSA; RDT&E; RED Team; Cultural Advisors; IT; TNG Integrators; Curriculum Integrators; Logisticians; linguist)

Qualification:

Required:

• Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
• Master's degree in a related field and 3 years of specialized experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of specialized experience; OR 10 years of specialized experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in operations coordination roles of responsibility within an O-5 or above tactical, operational, or strategic level command or while supporting a DoD contract of similar size and scope.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of the architecture, components, and employment of IADS.
• In-depth understanding of strategic and tactical Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) systems (e.g., S-300, S-400, S-500, Pantsir, Buk, Tor), including their radar frequencies, engagement envelopes, and kinematic capabilities.
• Ability to analyze air defense C2 networks, data links, early warning (EW) architectures, and the integration of overlapping defense tiers.
• Understanding of electronic attack (EA) and electronic protection (EP) capabilities as they relate to IADS survivability and lethality.
• Expertise in how forces deploy, conceal, and operate their IADS in both defensive and anti-access/area denial (A2/AD) environments.
• Subject matter expertise regarding aerospace forces (VKS) and naval aviation.
• Technical knowledge of fixed-wing and rotary-wing assets, including fighters (e.g., Su-35, Su-57, MiG-31), bombers (e.g., Tu-95, Tu-160), and ISR/C2 platforms (e.g., A-50 Mainstay).
• Understand airborne radars, infrared search and track (IRST) systems, and air-to-air/air-to-ground munitions.
• Demonstrate the ability to track, fuse, and analyze multi-source intelligence to monitor dynamic threats. Requirements include:
• Ability to deconstruct adversary kill chains to identify vulnerabilities and assess the effectiveness of friendly countermeasures.

Desired:

• Experience supporting SOF, TSOCs, or Joint SOF organizations. 
• Work independently, with limited government oversight, and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment. 
• Research, draft, and deliver highly detailed technical white papers analyzing emerging aerospace and defense technology trends, capabilities shift, and tactical doctrines.
• Systematically identify, analyze, and document operational lessons learned from ongoing or contemporary air and air-defense conflicts to help refine tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
