Responsibilities:
- Drive sales excellence by identifying customer needs and business opportunities, building multi-level customer relationships, and coordinating meetings and technical visits.
- Implement and promote the strategic positioning of Essential Nutrition products and services, driving sales growth and providing market and customer insights to the Product Line.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets by identifying customer needs, leading commercial and technical initiatives, and converting qualified leads into sales opportunities.
- Manage pricing strategies, customer service levels, and market intelligence to support profitability and business growth.
- Ensure full compliance with all Evonik policies and guidelines.
- Prepare sales forecasts and account plans, coordinate resources for key customers, and maintain accurate customer data across business systems.
- Participate in and lead cross-functional project teams that support the advancement of the business line's value-selling initiatives.
- Manage accounts receivable and collections through regular dashboard reviews, proactive customer outreach following escalated Customer Service events, and consistent documentation of collection activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role sales focused role strongly preferred
- BS Degree required
- Proven experience, ideally in animal nutrition, functional feed additives, specialty chemicals, or another technical/value-based sales environment.
- Strong ability to manage and grow customer relationships through digital and remote sales channels, including regular customer engagement, lead follow-up, and opportunity conversion.
- Ability to understand customer commercial and technical needs, position products and services effectively, and coordinate technical support when needed.
- Demonstrated success achieving price, volume, revenue, and pipeline targets through structured account planning and disciplined sales execution.
- Strong market, pricing, forecasting, and CRM/data-management discipline, including accurate pipeline updates, contact reporting, customer insights, and forecast inputs.
- Applies understanding of the business environment and objectives to develop solutions without supervision, while also providing technical assistance when necessary.
Summary Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
Pay Range: $94,600 - $171,500
