Primary Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain enterprise storage platforms (NetApp, HPE 3PAR/Nimble, Dell, Pure, Nutanix) ensuring high availability and compliance
  • Design and manage NAS and SAN storage solutions, including upgrades and data migrations
  • Implement and manage data protection strategies using SnapMirror, Snapshots, and replication technologies
  • Administer backup tools (Rubrik, Cohesity, Commvault, BackupExec, Veeam Backup, VMware Backup, Azure/AWS Backup) for scheduled backups and restores
  • Perform restore operations for files, servers, virtual machines, and SQL databases
  • Monitor storage and backup infrastructure performance; identify and resolve potential bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of storage and backup services
  • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides
  • Participate in 24x7 operations support and on-call rotation
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in storage and backup administration in enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with backup tools (Commvault, BackupExec, Veeam Backup, VMware Backup) and restore operations
  • Solid knowledge of storage platforms (NetApp, HPE 3PAR/Nimble, EMC, IBM) and storage design (NAS, SAN)
  • Proven excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proven solid communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualification:
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks
