Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Hybrid QA Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing within Agile/Scrum environments. This role focuses on designing scalable test frameworks, ensuring high-quality releases, and supporting continuous testing through CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise and the ability to improve testing processes and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases across functional, integration, and regression testing
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using Core Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD)
- Perform API testing using Postman or REST Assured
- Conduct database validation using SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Manage defects and test cycles using JIRA or HP ALM
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Docker) for continuous testing
- Set up, configure, and maintain test environments and infrastructure
- Ensure adherence to STLC best practices and improve QA processes
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- Core Java
- Selenium WebDriver
- TestNG
- Cucumber (BDD)
- Hands-on experience with:
- API testing (Postman / REST Assured)
- SQL databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
- Experience with:
- CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker)
- Defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM)
- Strong understanding of STLC (Functional, Integration, Regression)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong documentation and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior QA members
