Position: HVOF Blaster
Shift: (Days) Monday-Friday 6:00 AM- 2:30PM with some OT as needed
Position Overview:
The primary purpose of this position is to sandblast valves for customer shipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strives to meet production schedules without sacrifice to quality or health and safety standards
- Able to read and understand VTI sand blast and paint procedures
- Protect any machine surface prior to sandblasting
- Sandblast to SSPC-SP10 near white metal
- May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor
- Operate forklift when needed
Core Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience sandblasting
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding
- Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills
- Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Works well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on time
- Operate blast cabinet, walk in blast cabinet, and pot blasters
Skills Required
