Core Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage production line status (equipment utilization, WIP levels, etc.) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal production performance (output, cycle time, etc.).
- Analyze production-related data and dynamically develop and adjust strategies to ensure achievement of production KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including workload reduction, minimization of lost time, optimization of RPT and OI scheduling, and enhancement of Q-time control.
- Establish and optimize process management projects to ensure operational stability and sustainable long-term performance.
- Lead abnormal issue analysis and drive corrective actions, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize effectively based on timelines.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities to effectively resolve production line issues.
Production Operations & Execution
- Lead a team of operators to maintain strong manufacturing discipline and ensure stable daily production operations.
- Execute production plans based on supervisor priorities and adjust dynamically according to real-time shop floor conditions.
- Monitor daily output (Daily Moves) and performance against targets, and take timely corrective actions to address gaps.
- Make data-driven decisions to ensure achievement of output, cycle time, and overall production efficiency targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Maintain close communication and collaboration with Equipment, Process, Engineering, and Planning teams.
- Coordinate cross-area resources to optimize output and capacity management.
- Drive cross-functional solutions to enhance overall production and capacity performance.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost competitiveness.
- Systematically optimize process capability and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Establish and refine process management mechanisms to sustain and scale improvement outcomes.
People Leadership & Development
- Train, coach, and develop team members to continuously enhance capability.
- Ensure team alignment with production goals and strengthen accountability and execution.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all operations comply with company quality standards, manufacturing requirements, and procedures.
- Promote a "Safety First" culture and ensure full adherence to all safety protocols.
- Enforce operational discipline to minimize risks and ensure stable execution.
