This temporary position is located at 1915 Health Services Way Raleigh, NC 28607- Wake County, with Department of Health and Human Services - DCFW CHILD YOUTH.

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $35.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).  

Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification.  The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed within this vacancy announcement will be used only as management preferences and will be used to screen for the most qualified pool of applicants.

This position will increase programmatic collaboration and communication pathways between families, communities, and mental health programs. This position will be responsible for increasing the statewide awareness of System of Care in North Carolina.

Job duties include, but may not be limited to:

  • Oversight of all System of Care outreach activities, including, but not limited to conferences, awareness events, and community engagement activities.
  • Oversight of any contracts related to outreach and awareness.
  • Oversight of digital communications, such as newsletter posts, media posts
  • Serve as a primary connector between the North Carolina System of Care Team and state partners (including DHHS programs, schools, child welfare, juvenile justice, and private sector stakeholders).
  • Oversight of the System of Care Advisory Council (SOCAC)

Minimum Education and Experience

Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of related experience; or Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relative to the program area from an appropriately accredited institution and six years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
