This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Note: Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position in order to work in a temporary position. All temporary employees are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time.
Individuals hired into a temporary State job must be fully qualified for the job. This temporary position is located at 1915 Health Services Way, Raleigh, NC - Wake County with the Department of Health and Human Services -MH/DD/SAS.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $39.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed within this vacancy announcement will be used only as management preferences and will be used to screen for the most qualified pool of applicants.
Management Preferences:
- The employee will assist the NC CSRS team with responding to requests and developing informational and educational materials; including information sheets, PowerPoints, templates, etc.
- This employee will also assist with delivering trainings and webinars through virtual platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom)
- This employee should have developed communication skills and will be provided training and guidance on programmatic functions and specifics to complete tasks Employee may be expected to complete other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager
Minimum Education and Experience

Planner: Master's degree in public or human service administration or human services programmatic field from an appropriately accredited institution, and three years of human service experience, two of which must have been in human services program planning; or Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution, and five years progressive administrative or consultative experience in a human service program, two of which must have been in human service program planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Evaluator: Master's degree in the field of psychology, sociology, or social work from an appropriately accredited institution, and three years of experience in research and evaluation, using statistical methodologies in human service programs; or Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution, and five years of experience in research, evaluation and statistical application in the human service field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
