Job Description:
About the Role: As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be a key player in shaping a supportive and engaging work environment for the Ogden, UT plant, a manufacturer of Cookies and Waffles. Your role will directly impact the success of the site by ensuring smooth HR operations, from managing employee records and payroll inquiries to supporting employee relations and policy compliance. You'll also collaborate with the HR and Operations teams on projects and recruitment efforts, making a meaningful difference in the day-to-day experience of employees. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

Supporting initiatives that improve the employee experience while ensuring adherence to HR programs and policies.

Utilizing exceptional attention to detail, applies consistently and accurately.

Assisting employees with payroll, attendance, and benefits inquiries, and managing related transactions to support site operations.

Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring data integrity across systems, including Workday.

Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for frontline employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the workforce.

Providing operational and functional support to the Human Resources and Operations teams, contributing to site projects and initiatives.

Collaborating and actively participating in employee engagement activities to foster positive relationships and enhance workplace culture.

This is a full-time, on-site role with standard office business hours. Occasional flexibility is required to support alternate shifts.
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Human Resources profession, with manufacturing industry experience highly preferred.

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
-
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, as well as HRIS or payroll systems.
-
Demonstrated ability to spot discrepancies and ensure accuracy in documentation, reporting, and employee records management.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management
-
Fluency in English and Spanish preferred, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
