SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Operations Manager is responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities in support of the Executive Vice President, Human Resources. (EVP-HR) The Human Resources Operations Manager provides technical, administrative and complex human resources support to the EVP, Human Resources including coordination of a variety of high-level, confidential, and sensitive internal and external communications; manages complex projects and events, coordinates travel arrangements, meeting logistics, equipment purchases, and budgetary expenditures; develops and maintains positive liaison relationships with various internal and external customers including employees, and other executives; compiles and coordinates data for a variety of complex reports, presentations, and oral/written communications. Assignments may include compiling and analyzing data, coordinating multiple concurrent activities, and interacting with individuals and groups at most levels in the organization. This position will report to the EVP, Human Resources.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead daily operations of the office of the EVP, Human Resources.
Provide executive support to the EVP, HR with calendar/meeting management, travel coordination, and expense report processing (includes preparing thoughtful and informed agendas based on proposed travel); may perform the same for other HRLT leadership team.
Perform internal and external office communication: email, voicemail, and miscellaneous written correspondence.
Organize and maintain the EVP’s filing system; ensures accuracy and completeness of confidential personnel files and employee records; and files and retrieved documents.
Schedule, plan and coordinate special events for the Human Resources Department. (employee recognition programs, committee meetings).
Maintain weekly/monthly HR/Comms updates.
Manages HR workforce and financial management; manage annual planning including monitoring budget and expenditures.
In conjunction with the EVP, HR, prepare presentations and talking points for a wide variety of topics for internal/external meetings.
Manage logistics and agendas for critical recurring and ad-hoc meetings including prioritizing and scheduling topics and organizing preparation and distribution of materials.
Manages all vendor risk processes for Comms, Security and HR
Responsible for Choice Award planning and follow-up
Manages the OC Tanner Service Award Program
Invoices and check requests for the departments
Handles coordination of all settlement, separation and severance checks, outplacement coordination, etc.
Maintain tracking logs for the department (cost saves captured throughout the year, automation projects and their status, team training and development activities and legal spreadsheet showing any closed and open legal cases in HR inclusive of record requests, EEOC charges and status, litigation and status, etc.)
Manages the reception area and receptionist including mail process, RING camera and package deliveries
Manages the relocation repayment process and third-party collection agency vendor ownership
Creates monthly PowerPoint decks with Comms to inform Gwinnett employees on HR/Security topics, etc.
Participates in planning of the Leadership Conference as well as event “on the ground” support and coordination
Works collaboratively with numerous stakeholders across Lendmark and its partners to ensure successful planning, coordination & execution of various projects and Initiative; operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leadership areas of responsibility.
Track and maintain follow-up on HR/Comms designated or high priority initiatives and special projects.
Assess all inquiries directed to the EVP, HR and determine priority and the proper course of action.
Provide analysis, recommendations, and options to the EVP, HR regarding high impact decisions
Be a contributing member of the HR/Comms leadership team - identify opportunities, propose solutions, work through opportunities and challenges with a lens towards business, operational, and cultural progress.
Act as an extension of the EVP, HR and information funnel, filter, and facilitator with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain employee confidence and protects operations by keeping Human Resource information confidential.
Manage risk relative to position.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business work experience.
5+ years of human resources experience.
Strong skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel and Outlook.
Proven track record of navigating through ambiguity, and a demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances and demands.
A strong problem-solving track record – ability to think critically through unique problems with no set playbook and quickly implement a path to a solution.
Manages confidentiality without exception; demonstrates outstanding judgment.
Experienced in high level project execution, building relationships and working with executives.
Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity initiatives.
Ability to work quickly, proactively & independently with attention to detail & sensitivity to deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.
Must be eligible to work legally in the United States.
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $69,390 - $84,810 annually, based on the specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Experience of the selected candidate.
This position is eligible for Semi Annual Incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines.
