Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager implements policy and helps direct and coordinate human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor, benefits, training, and employee services. Advise managers on company policy and review personnel files with management to assist in decision-making with regards to employee disciplinary action, rehire eligibility and promotional opportunities with regards to employee recognition, performance and discipline practices. Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, wages, opportunities for development and employee benefits. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads the HR department in the design or selection of a new Human Resources information system. Coordinates the selection process with the Information Management department to ensure system integration with the IM strategic plan.
- Interfaces with various IS disciplines through the various phases of selection, design, implementation and maintenance of computer hardware and software installation.
- Analyzes requirements for systems so that HR staff can be more efficient, reducing time spent on each process/task. Performs and documents process analysis and prepares design and programming specifications. Write custom programs as necessary.
- Evaluates requests for system enhancements and provides timetable for completion monitoring all projects in development and providing periodic status reports to HR Director and Chief Strategy Officer.
- Performs on–going analysis of Human Resources systems software for enhanced services; i.e., development of reports and other system solutions for benefit administration, compensation, employment and employee relations process.
- Serves Human Resources, Department Managers and Senior Management with the data assessment, data entry of document compliance of the Joint Commission standards for Human Resources services.
- Trains the Human Resources Department staff on system functionally and related processes.
- Maintains and actively supports established Clinic IM system standards and develops HR departmental policies, procedures to support.
- Maintains technical and professional knowledge of Information Management systems and demonstrates working knowledge of personal computers and related software including spreadsheet programs, database programs, word-processing and graphic applications.
- Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job-related hazards.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, business, organization development, or related field.
- Minimum three to five years in HR preferred
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills are required
- Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organizational development, employee relations, safety, and training and development
- Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other HR programs
- Evidence of the practice of high level of confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human resources, business, organizational development, or a related field
- Three to five years of human resources experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organizational development, employee relations, safety, and training and development
- Experience administering benefits, compensation programs, and other human resources programs
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills
