People strategy is business strategy.

At SRC, we believe strong HR starts with understanding the business—the operation, the numbers, the people, and what it takes for the company to win.

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager who is more than an HR expert. You are a business partner: someone who is curious about how the operation works, confident in advising leaders, and energized by helping people and the business grow together.

As the sole HR leader for SRC Industrial, you will report directly to the General Manager and serve as a key member of the site leadership team. You will lead day-to-day HR while helping shape workforce strategy, culture, and long-term growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real visibility and influence in the operation. You’ll have the autonomy to lead HR at the site level, the support of the broader SRC Family of Companies, and a seat at the table as business decisions are made.

What You'll Do

  • Connecting HR decisions to business needs and results
  • Lead all HR functions, including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, and employee development.
  • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and organizational growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and supervisors on employee and organizational matters.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives.
  • Support a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and discretion with sensitive information
  • HRIS system administration experience and aptitude for technology preferred; ADP experience is a plus.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources and/or SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification required.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or operational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day HR execution.

Why SRC Industrial?

At SRC, employee-owners are taught how the business works, how we make money, and how their decisions impact results. We practice open-book management through The Great Game of Business®—because people make better decisions when they understand the score.

That philosophy shapes how we practice HR. Our HR leaders are not sitting outside the business. They are businesspeople who happen to have HR expertise, using that expertise to help leaders, employee-owners, and the company succeed.

Why This Role Matters:

  • Serve as the sole HR leader and a key voice on the Industrial leadership team.
  • Partner directly with the General Manager to connect people strategy to operational and business goals.
  • Influence a growing, approximately 95-person employee-owned manufacturing operation.
  • Help leaders and employee-owners understand how people decisions affect business performance.
  • Have the autonomy to build practical HR programs, improve processes, and make a visible difference.
  • Draw on the expertise and resources of the broader SRC Family of Companies while keeping decisions close to the business.

Rewards for You

  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
  • Quarterly bonus program
  • 5% 401(k) match
  • Exceptional health benefits
  • Vacation and holiday pay
  • 100% tuition reimbursement and growth opportunities
  • Top-tier wellness benefits
  • Free mental health and lifestyle resources
