Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will serve as the onsite strategic Human Resources leader for our large manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa, providing guidance on workforce, organizational, talent, employee relations, and labor relations matters. You will partner closely with plant leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, culture initiatives, and business performance while maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization, balancing strategic thinking with operational execution to create a safe, engaged, and high-performing workplace.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
Serve as the lead Human Resources partner to plant leadership, providing strategic guidance on workforce, organizational, talent, employee, and labor relations matters.
Lead and develop a team of Human Resources professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Establish a strong floor presence, building credibility and relationships with employees, supervisors, and leaders across all shifts.
Lead labor relations activities and provide guidance on labor-related matters.
Partner with operations leaders to proactively address employee relations matters, improve engagement, and foster a positive workplace culture.
Drive talent management processes including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.
Coach and influence leaders at all levels on employee development, organizational effectiveness, change management, and leadership capability.
Partner with Recruiting to support talent acquisition needs, onboarding, and retention strategies aligned with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and employment regulations while minimizing organizational risk.
Lead compensation, salary planning, culture assessment, and organizational development initiatives.
Use Human Resources metrics and workforce analytics to identify trends, make recommendations, and support business decision-making.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience within a large manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience leading and developing Human Resources teams.
Human Resources experience within a large manufacturing environment, including labor relations and support of facilities with 500+ employees.
Experience leading organizational change, talent strategy, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
Strong employee relations background with experience resolving complex workplace issues.
Demonstrated success building trust and credibility through a visible, hands-on leadership style and employee engagement.
Knowledge of labor law, ERISA, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, and other employment regulations.
Experience using Workday or other Human Resources information systems and leveraging data to support decision-making.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills.
Proven success influencing senior leaders through strong executive presence, sound judgment, and business acumen while effectively leading through ambiguity and change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Onsite 5 days per week

Compensation
Pay Range:$109,000-$159,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
