We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our client in Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving HR strategy, managing employee relations, overseeing recruitment, and implementing policies that foster a high-performance culture.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and review HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies
  • Oversee performance management systems and guide managers on employee development plans
  • Drive learning and development initiatives to support staff growth and succession planning
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
  • Provide strategic HR advice to management and contribute to organizational decision-making
  • Oversee payroll, compensation, and benefits administration

 



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is highly desirable


Skills Required
