A leading regional professional services organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support its New Jersey office. This role will oversee core HR operations including recruiting, employee relations, staffing strategy, performance management, and compliance.
The Human Resources Manager partners closely with senior leadership and the Chief Human Resources Officer to ensure effective HR policies, employee engagement, and operational efficiency across the firm.
Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day HR functions while helping shape and improve firm-wide policies, procedures, and talent strategies. This role works closely with partners, attorneys, and administrative staff to support a high-performing professional services environment.
This position also oversees support staff operations and plays a key role in employee relations, staffing planning, and benefits administration.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 4+ years of progressively responsible HR experience
- Experience working within legal or professional services organizations
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and compliance practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Prior law firm HR experience
- Professional HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or PHR)
- Experience supporting professional services environments
